Are you sending conflicting messages to the Universe?

Let me give you a bit of context for this week’s Soul Conversation, I spend about 20% of my time connecting with women in my target audience online on a weekly basis. Connecting and getting to know the amazing women in my Virtual world has been “Simply Amazing”. If you’re up to some amazing things in your world, I would love to connect with you too! You see, I am in the business of helping women connect with their Soul’s DNA, then I help them give a voice to their Soul, create a platform of its self expression, so they can magnetically attract their tribe. The total package we create “Infusing your Soul’s Style Into the Tapestry of Your Business, Life and Environment”. I say all this not to impress you, but to impress upon you the work I do is powerful, life changing and most people I know can connect with it on some level or knows someone who could. What seems to amaze me how many women without fully connecting with me, will not respond to a request to have “Virtual Tea” aka “a Get Acquainted Conversation” to see how we might support each other on our journey called life.

Follow up can come in many forms:

1. Failing to follow up after a networking function with an email or a call
2. Not being genuinely interested in other people
3. Having a thought of a person pass through your mind and not taking action to reach out
4. When someone ask to connect with you online or offline and not honoring the connection.

We must always make time to complete the connection when people ask to connect. You don’t know what is on the other side of an email, phone or thought you have, that will lead you to exactly what you have been praying for or longing for or the very connection that will take your vision to a level you could only imagine. Remember in this place called “Life” it isn’t about YOU! It is about the people you were born to serve so get over yourself, drop the EGO and let’s get back to completing the connections that will lead you to your wants, dreams and desires.

There’s no such thing as Life Balance. If you are like so many other Women Entrepreneurs and Women Executives you have been on a quest to achieve Life Balance, but never fully arrived at your destination. Sorry to say it, but Life Balance, just doesn’t exist.

Let me introduce you to a different concept, one that will allow you to be free. You can tell by my website header that freedom is important to me. I am not talking about just any kind of freedom, but the Ultimate of Lifestyle Freedom. What I want for you is to be FREE! Free to feel, and experience life on your own terms without spending time trying to find the perfect balance for everything. Instead strive for Harmony! Set the Intention to “Create Harmony” in your life.

Webster defines: “Harmony” – pleasing or congruent arrangement of parts

Why “Harmony”? Harmony allows you to flow in and out the various roles we play as women on a daily basis. It allows us to internalize that everything isn’t designed to be equal but exist more in congruent arrangement with the other parts of your life. There are times when you will have to give more attention to your family, other times your work will require more of you. At the end of the day you will feel more in alignment and more accomplished because you responded to life by being 100% present with your time and attention. Stop Playing Follow the Leader instead Lead Your Pack

There’s a trend in the marketplace I can date back to 2009 but I know it has been going on longer than I care to remember. When did it become ok for you to abandon your Soul’s Purpose to follow the dreams and purpose of your High End Coach/Mentor? You see I have noticed a trend with so many women who have gotten derailed in their business and life experience because they starting playing follow the leader instead of leading their pack.

Each of us was born with our Soul’s Purpose embedded in our DNA. It was decided at the time of our conception, who we would become in the process of our evolution. We each were given unique instructions comprised of our feelings, thoughts, dreams and aspirations. Instead, many got mesmerized by the carefully crafted hypnotic sales copy or eloquently rehearsed Sales Close of their High End Coach/Mentor and abandoned their Passion and Purpose at the end of the last live event. All of this has left women second guessing their decisions, scared to try what their heart is screaming to express and they wake up every day confused and frustrated wanting to throw in the towel.

Let me, let you in on a little secret, “You can’t live someone else’s dream, vision or purpose and expect to have their results”. In other words, “It is better to be an Original than a poor Xerox copy”. I am all for borrowing strategies that resonate and work within your business model. At this point in the game, it is time for you to tap into YOUR Soul’s DNA and uncover YOUR hidden treasures buried on a molecular level of your being. Find a Coach/Mentor who is willing to talk to you about YOUR Purpose and YOUR Passion and then help you package and infuse it into a business model that expresses WHO YOU ARE! Remember, your business model doesn’t have to be the same business model your coach/mentor is building.

One thing I know for sure, when we as women fully express our Soul’s DNA in the fibers of our Life, Business and Environment, we will have the power of the Divine Feminine in full effect and global transformation will transcend our understand of success known today!

Are YOU waiting to Fall in Love with Your Life?

As I travel around my virtual world connecting with Women in Business and those who have jobs, I have discovered a common theme. Many women are waiting for something to happen in order for them to do something else, like Love their Life.

Here are some examples of what I mean…

- I would start my business but I am waiting for my son or daughter to go off to college.

- I wish I knew what I could do to replace my income and be free of this job.

- The career I thought I would have after college is very different but I am not sure how I lost my way.

- I am not quite sure what happened to the passion for my life or my work.

The list goes on an on and on, but I want to put an end to the madness of women spinning around without any forward movement. You see, we were all born with a full dose of purpose to be fulfilled in our lifetime. The problem is that most women are looking outside of themselves to connect with their purpose and additionally for the fulfillment of that purpose. Let me, let you in on a little secret. Your Life Purpose is to be the full expression of YOU! It is to be expressed in the physical form all the burning thoughts you buried many years ago. Yes and the expression of all the thoughts you have on a daily, weekly and monthly basis that you say, “NO, it can’t happen”. All of the inklings, thoughts, desires, dreams and wants that you have been suppressing over the years. These ideas were planted in your mind for you to act upon them as your purpose in Life. Imagine if Edison had said “NO” to all the his thoughts rattling around in his head, what kind of darkness would we all be experiencing now! It is your job to begin to say “YES” to the stuff rattling around in your head.

You may be asking yourself, “Who has time to spend figuring things out?” believe it or not that is another common response. Well I am glad you had that thought because that is where I come in!! What Kind of Company is your Brand Keeping?

This may seem like a weird question to ask but it can make the difference attracting who and what you want for your business and life. How are you treating your Brand? Who and What are you allowing aligning or associating with your Brand?

I was having a chat with my coach the other day, YES, I have a coach and never will be with out one. We were discussing the fact I was looking for a cupcake designer and several people had made recommendations to cupcake bakers. You may ask so what is the difference. I was looking for a person who represented warmth, inviting and who I could connect with and build a relationship with to provide cupcakes at online and offline special events. What I realized is that some of the vendors recommended were not the kind of company I would align my Brand with. I was looking for not only a cupcake baker but a cupcake designer who was going to provide me with an experience just by looking at their first Brand Experience, their website!

What type of experience is your Brand and your Website offering to your potential clients? First impressions are often lasting impressions.

So, I ask you again, What Kind of Company is your Brand Keeping?

When you take a look at a Brand it should evoke a feeling, serve a particular population of people, called your target audience, whether you are intentional about it or not. I chose to be intentional with my brand. You see my brand is a warm inviting brand, it invites you to come inside, grab a cup of tea or your favorite beverage, take a seat on a soft comfy chair and sit back for a Soulful conversation. The colors selected, the person I wanted to attract and connect with,were all intentional considerations when I was in the planning and design phase of my web development. At the core of my Brand it has to reflect MY Soul’s DNA expressed in every aspect of my client’s experience, including my website. My Brand can only keep company with other brands, which are in alignment with our Brand Essence, Look, Feel, Energy, Our Brand Promise and the experience I want my clients to feel when interacting with my company on every level. This is what we strive for when we plan and live our daily lives as part of the team.

The Kind of Company your Brand Keeps can mean the difference between attracting a High End client or a non-paying client. When selecting the types of networking events to attend consider if the event, the host and the people attending the event are in alignment with your overall Brand Culture. You are probably thinking, what on earth is she talking about “Reinvention of the Woman who never got to Speak”. Well I am talking about how you may be feeling deep inside that you have never expressed to anyone or maybe just your closest friends. I have been exactly where you may be today, you bought into the high end coaching programs with your favorite mentor, whom you absolutely love but didn’t get what YOU really needed nor wanted to grow your business to the next level.

7 Strategies for Living an Intentional Lifestyle

Would you like to live a more fulfilling life?

Well what’s stopping you? I am here to remind you it is never too late to start living an Intentional Lifestyle. All it takes is a decision to course correct and create a new path. The quickest way to course correct is to get completely present, look around to see what you have already created, decide what’s working for you and what isn’t working. Check your thoughts and feelings so you can decide where to begin with charting your new course of action.

Here’s an example scenario:

You’ve decided to stop eating potato chips and chocolate. You make a decision to watch what you eat. But two hours later, you suddenly realize you’re sitting in front of the television, bag of potato chips in hand.

Now imagine the same scenario, yet this time you decide to respond differently. You spend some time thinking about how to ensure you avoid potato chips and chocolate. You decide to take your junk food over to a friend’s house and leave it there. At dinner, you smile to yourself as you prepare to eat a salad and baked chicken because you plan to thoughtfully focus on eating healthy.

The second scenario demonstrates the concept of living a intentional living. Knowing what you want, choosing how you spend your time, and staying in touch with your thoughts and feelings are indicators of a intentional living.

There are many techniques you can implement to help you intentionally live the way you want to. When you live intentionally, you’re no longer a victim of circumstances, being blown in an unwanted direction.

Try out a couple of these ideas to get you started and inspire you on your newfound journey:

1. Creating the life you want is a step-by-step process. Remember Rome wasn’t built in a day.

* Spend some time exploring what you already love about your life then decide what areas you would like to change

* Next, think about what deliberate steps you can begin today to create the life you absolutely love. You see I want you to fall in love with your Life!

2. Seek balance in your life. We all need time to play, time to work and time to just simply be!

3. Live in the present moment. Yes I know you have heard this before, but what does it really meant to you?

Consider this example:

* While you’re visiting your mother/friend/partner, think about and enjoy your conversation and activities together. Avoid making your grocery store list mentally or trying to recall what else you have to do today. Just stay in the present moment with your loved one and focus on the time the two of you are sharing.

4. Know thyself. Increase your awareness of your likes and dislikes so you can do more of what you like and love! This will add more zest to your life.

* Learn what’s important to you. Discover what makes you tick, what drives you, and what you find inspiring. Be Inspired!
